A winter storage consists of a series of works designed to protect the boat during the rigors of winter and leave it in perfect condition for next summer.

Basically the works are the following:

  •  Clean the hull, stern drive or shaft, and the propeller with pressure water and special products to remove the screw.
  •  Change of turbine, change of stern drive oil, change the engine oil and change the fuel, oil and air filters (if applicable).
  • The engine runs with fresh water to remove the remains of salt that have accumulated inside and then it's depleted with special oils to protect cylinders and pistons.
  • The boat is cleaned, it is dried up and stored in the hangars, always covered.
  • When the boat has to go to the water, it is washed again to remove the dust that could have accumulated during the winter and the engine is started with fresh water to burn the oils inside.
  • The hull is painted with antifouling paint, the engine is set up, we do water tests at sea, the spark plugs are changed and the boat is taken to the mooring / buoy.
